10 minute makeup routine

Let’s face it. If I sleep through three alarms in the morning there’s just no time for dilly dallying before work. My makeup routine has to be done in less than 10 minutes or easily applicable in the parking lot at work or in the office bathroom.  With the help of my sister and her beauty expertise, I’ve been able to narrow it down to a handful of products that make my routine an absolute breeze. Here they are in order of how I apply them to my face:

First, I wet and wash my Beauty Blender with hotel-sized soap (don’t waste your money on the $16 cleaner they sell, it’s basically a $16 bar of soap).

Then, Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation in tan honey

Blend, blend, blend.

Then, Laura Mercier Secret Concealer or Tarte Cosmetics Maracuja Creaseless Concealerunder eyes and on my eye lids because I don’t want to spend money on a shadow base and it works just fine as a shadow base.

Blend, blend, blend.

Then, I fill my brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade  (THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!)

Fill, fill, fill.

Then, MAC Blush Powder in Margin or Love Joy ( I can’t find Love Joy on the site anymore).

Blend, blend, blend.

Then, I just randomly choose a light brown color from my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadows

Blend, blend, blend.

Lastly, curl my lashes and use L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Power Volume 24H Waterproof Mascara

I grab one of the 20 lipsticks in my bag. Usually it’s NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul or another light shade of pink. I’m also obsessing over Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain in Mandarin Muse.

If I’m feeling fancy, I’ll apply a line of MAC Fluidline Eye Liner on my eyelid.

Bam. Bam. Bam. Done. Fresh and natural face.
