The Pieces

• Faux suede moto jacket (shop exact)
• Fuchsia ruffle sleeve blouse
• Polka dot ankle pants
• Fringe block heels

Before

I paired my ankle pants with a flowy blouse and added a duster cardigan because it was still a little chilly outside and in the office. Since the shirt was already an oversized style, the loose cardigan made me look a little sloppy.

The Fix

I ditched the duster for a cropped moto jacket which made more room to let the outfit “breathe” a bit. I will sometimes tuck my oversized top in but the waistband on these pants did not lend itself for a tucked-in look. The closed-front heel (shop exact) took away from the fact that these pants are actually ankle pants and so it all sort of blended in together. Swapping them with a pair of open heels made room for the ankle pants to shine! I added a simple long necklace to break up the oversized fit of the shirt and I was out the door!
