I’ll be turning 30 this year and although nothing extremely drastic has happened in my life over the last few years, there have been several “ah ha” moments in my mid to late 20s. Moments where I find myself perhaps asking more questions than I have in the past because I either just didn’t know I should have or never had the confidence to. Or forcing myself not to get my hopes up about a certain situation that may or may not happen, until I realized that hope is what kept me going and made the situation tolerable. I had to change my outlook on rejection by seeing it as a fate rather than disappointment. There are a lot of things I need to work on in my personal life but it’s such a refreshing feeling when you realize you learned a very simple lesson.
