Garlic Chicken Pot Pie

This was my first time making a chicken pot pie. There are several variations to this comfort food recipe and although mine was a pretty basic one, it was still delicious. Even better then next day heated up in the oven. I found this recipe in the Cooking with Pheeling cookbook, although I made some changes with the sauce. Here’s what I did:

What you need

1lb boneless skinless chicken breast
2 cups frozen vegetables. I used mixed vegetables.
1 packet of Knorr Garlic & Herb sauce
1 ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust

What you need to do

Heat oven to 400
Prepare garlic sauce according to packet instructions
In a separate skillet, cook chicken
Add vegetables
Cook until heated through
Stir in garlic sauce
Spoon into a 9-inch pie plate
Cover with the pie crust
Cut several slits in the pie crust
Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
