The perfect way to get out of a maternity wardrobe funk? Wear all the florals! Finding cute maternity outfits is hard enough, especially in the third trimester. So I decided to go for one of the happiest prints in my closet: floral print. I joked in my Instagram reel that the floral prints just happen to find me at thrift stores. It’s one of the easiest prints to find at secondhand stores. It’s also a beautiful print to wear year round, not just in the spring. I like to look for moody, dark florals in the fall and winter, pastels in the spring, and neons in the summer.
I recently thrifted this dress from Goodwill and despite it being somewhat bold and busy, it’s been one of the easiest pieces to style. Here, I wore my Dr. Martens sandals to juxtapose the feminine floral print. I was a little nervous about these Voss platform strap sandals being too heavy for my feet but they are incredibly comfy and lightweight. If you love 90s style as much as I do, you’ve got to check them out.
