I found this vintage off the shoulder dress at the Salvation Army recently. I tried to challenge myself to modernize it with trendy accessories and I just couldn’t get myself to do it. I kept falling back on older feminine pieces like my straw bag and pink Prada shoes.

I think I gasped when I saw the Carolina Herrera dress @mindykaling wore to the Spirit Awards. I ran to shop my own closet to see if I could find a way to #thrifticate her look. This thrifted dress was as close as I could get for #12MonthsofThrifting! My dress is a Loft thrift find from Goodwill.
