A good friend of mine swears by Batiste Dry Shampoo, and suggested it to my sisters and I some time ago. Like many, I don’t like to wash my hair everyday to avoid drying it out, so this product really interested me. I have yet to get around to buying it, but my sister who’s also my personal hairstylist bought it and absolutely loves it. I have come to trust every product she recommends and uses on my hair. Here’s her review:

When I heard about Batiste Dry shampoo through a freind, I have to admit I was a bit sceptical. I have been a hairstylist for about 9 years, and I have come across hundreds of products (and I do have my favorites that I won’t give up) but since my friend raved about this, I had to give it a try.

According to the bottle Batiste Dry Shampoo “revitalises greasy, dull, and lifeless hair between washes.” I was pleasantly surprised to find that it really does give off the “just washed” look and feel.

This product is great if you don’t like to shampoo everyday, I personally think unless you have super oily hair you should only shampoo every other day. For dry hair, I even recommend going 3 days without washing- if you can get away with it. It gives a chance for natual oils to moisturize your hair and also gives it a break from heat, blow dryers, irons etc.

Batiste gave me that extra lift I needed on the days I skipped a wash. It also eliminates any smells your hair may of have picked up like cigarette smoke, or that gross fried food smell that followed you home from your favorite restaurant.

It’s easy to use, just shake and spray evenly over hair about 12 inches away and let it sit for a minute, follow with a fingertip massage and brush out.

Voila! Pretty “clean” hair! Love it!

Have you tried dry shampoo? Your thoughts?

Also, I’ve been meaning to share the wonderful surprise that came in the mail a few weeks ago. I won a pair of beautiful silver horseshoe earrings from Wanderlusting (Anywhere But Here)  via The packaging was lovely, and the earrings are so soft and feminine. Thanks again, I love them!
