Boho Inspired

Before you start wondering if this is a formal dress, the answer is yes.

I found this 1980s Susan Roselli for Vijack dress at the thrift store, took one look at the crotchet top and thought this could be transformed into a boho chic / makeshift maxi dress. It’s pretty light and breezy, much lighter than most formal dresses so I figured it could be worn as a daytime piece. Here’s a similar one on etsy. I’ve been looking for a denim vest and found this one for $3 when I found the dress.  I paired it with wooden bangles that I’ve had since the early 2000s and a $5 thrifted bag.  Every time I clean out my jewelry box I put these wooden bangles in the “to donate” pile, but always end up taking them out. I can’t seem to part with them!
