Last week, New Day Cleveland aired a segment we filmed at Goodwill in Middleburg Heights in which we talked about thrifting shoes and how to clean them. To clean, spray lysol or use clorox wipes to disinfect the shoe. Always check the bottom of the shoe for wear and tear, don’t waste your money on a pair of beat up shoes – even if they do cost only a few dollars. Another tip I didn’t mention in the clip is to take a pair of socks or throwaway socks with you to the thrift store so you can try on with ease. Think of thrifting shoes like being at the bowling alley!
