I rarely shop at Ann Taylor but tend to find their pieces while thrifting. Because I’m not very familiar with their sizes and styles, I assumed this dress wouldn’t fit when I found it at the thrift store, but at $4 I couldn’t put it back. I was pretty hangry so I mentally prepared myself for the disappointment of the dress not fitting. Much to my surprise and pure hanger, it fit! I instantly fell in love with the quality and couldn’t believe how forgiving the material is. Their clothes are made for real women! I was originally going to pair this with an Ann Taylor white long overcoat but opted for a cropped faux leather jacket and booties so it’s not one-deminsional. Remember my tweet about white nail polish? I braved the snow storm last week to get OPI’s Alpine Snow just to find out that I’ve owned Zoya’s Purity for over a year and completely forgot (Zoya’s is better, by the way).
I was gifted this necklace from Rings and Tings, a chic online accessory store. My favorite thing about it is that I can easily dress it up or down; it works well with formal pieces like this dress as well as t-shirts. Check them out for an endless supply of chic and extremely affordable pieces, plus they ship worldwide! Stay tuned to see how I style other pieces from Rings and Tings, including an ear cuff I’ve been obsessing over for months.
