Big Red Shoulders

Akron Ymphony?

Red blazers are a staple in my closet because they are so unbelievably versatile. I already own a thrifted red blazer but I really love a strong shoulder so I had to convince myself that I needed this collarless one too. I found this at the Salvation Army as part of a two piece suit for $4. Although absolutely adorable, I didn’t pay much attention to the skirt because I loved the jacket so much. Plus, the skirt is tiny and there’s no way I’m ever going to fit into it…any takers? I didn’t think anything in my closet could beat this 1980s striped dress but this once upon a time two piece suit pretty sums up the workin’ woman circa 1985, wouldn’t you say? I’ve been wearing a lot of long and thin scarves in place of statement necklaces lately. I found this one at the thrift store years ago and have fallen in love with it all over again this fall.

  • I love your style! What size jeans do you wear and where can I find them? I can hardly find anything in my size because I'm 5'3 with really short legs and seriously wide hips
