Kenra Blow Dry Spray
I spray Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray in damp hair before I blow dry and it leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny in between washes. I deliberately took breaks using this spray to see if I was imagining things. NOAP. The difference was obvious, if not in the shine but in the softness and reduced drying time. I have fine hair and it cut my drying time in half. I can't say how much time it will save those who are fortunate enough to have thicker hair than me, however, I've read some really positive reviews about the blow dry spray reducing frizz and drying time for those with thick hair. Plus, it has a subtle sweet smell that makes my hair feel fresh even on the days I don't wash my hair.1.7oz runs about $13.00
Kenra Dry Shampoo
Which brings me to another favorite product for those in between days: Kenra Platinum Dry Shampoo. I've been using dry shampoo for quite some time so I compared this one to the products I've tried in the past, and I've got to say they all come pretty close in quality. What I like most about the Kenra Dry Shampoo however, is that it smells better than most drugstore brands and doesn't leave my roots feeling too dry. I once tried a dry shampoo that did nothing, but well, dry my hair - it felt like sand paper.
All dry shampoos will release a white spray / powder to absorb the oils in your hair, and although the Kenra brand does indeed remove all the oils and adds replaces it with volume, the white consistency isn't as intense as other dry shampoos out there. So if you don't blend it all in properly, you won't be walking around looking like you need to be in a Head and Shoulders commercial. The best part is the volume it adds. I'll usually spray this in my hair and then flip my hair against my usual part and you would never be able to tell I haven't washed my hair in a day or two! Talk about refreshing and reviving!
1.5 oz runs about $9.00

I'll give the blow dry spray a try. I do have thick hair and lots of it but it gets so frizzy when I just blow dry it so I end up using the flat iron a lot more than I'd like to. I love, love, love Kenra hairspray. There's nothing else that even comes close. I've recently started using their mousse, too, and it's also very good and a little goes a long way.
ReplyDeleteAs a professional I can't live without blow dry spray I the salon. Personally, I have thick med-coarse hair and have never been able to just blow dry. With this I can. I'd say it probably cuts blow dry time for me by 25%. Love it!!!
