Inspired By: Dionne Warwick 1960s Style

Known for her pure soulful voice, the hit single I Say A Little Prayer, her relation to Whitney Houston, and her endorsement of the Psychic Friends Network, Dionne Warwick was and still an extremely popular R&B and soul singer.  I first fell in love with Dionne's style when I picked up the 1967 The Windows of the World album. I've been stalking her retro style ever since.

  2. oh god, I LOVE her--I'm so glad I'm not the only one! When I'm feeling down, I always put on her recording of the theme from "The Valley of the Dolls" and indulge myself. Her Bacharach/David songs are at the top of my favorites lists. Thanks for reminding us of her incredible style.
