Fashion Week Cleveland: The Cleveland Fashion Show 2010

Last week, I covered the educational event for Fashion Week Cleveland, which featured the theme: The Influence of the Military on Fashion. This weekend I had the opportunity to attend The Cleveland Fashion show for FWC.

It was hot and humid outside, but even hotter on the runway. Local collegiate fashion designers as well as American designers including Christopher Boyle (who works closely with Mandy Moore) displayed their works of art on beautiful models. Some of the most fashionable people in Cleveland and surrounding areas showed up to the black tie gala event to support these designers and have a good time.

To say I had an amazing time would be an understatement. I took a lot of photos and videos and had the opportunity to mingle and chat with a lot of people, from friends/family of designers to fashion junkies who wouldn't have missed the show for the world. So be sure to stay tuned throughout this week for a more detailed look at The Cleveland Fashion Show, with special posts and videos on some of my favorite designers and pieces.

The models walked around in Wearable Art before the show started-
    Newspaper Girl was amazing!

The model to the left, Fiona Gao rocked the runway. This girl was fantastic.

Yes, I may have been a little creepster snapping pictures of shoes and feet but I don't care! Those black pumps are Jessica Simpson by the way!

Left: Natasha Rowls: NaJo Creations and right: My favorite designer of the night-Carl Williams Jr.
More to come on these designers!

A short clip of a couple of the featured designers.
