Summer boots.
Instyle recommends pairing summer boots with a loose tee, denim shorts or a prairie skirt. I like how Isabel Lucas matched her boots with a simple dress and blazer. I would recommend finding a lightweight canvas or linen pair with leather trim to give your feet some air! Some inspiration for you:

I admit that my feet would probably get really hot wearing boots in the summer, but I think this would be a nice transition outfit when the weather is hard to predict. Like in Cleveland!

I wear cognac-colored riding boots all summer long - they look adorable with tailored shorts and sundresses!! :)
