I picked up a 3 pack of Lacura lip balm for $1.49 and a tube of moisturizing eye cream for $3.49.
The lip balm is simply amazing. Instantly, it hydrated my lips and kept them smooth and moisturized for hours. I then went to sephora.com and compared the ingredients in Lacura's lip balm to the most expensive balms they have on their website. After a couple hours of comparing and contrasting ingredients I will probably never be able to pronounce, I found that Lacura's lip balm shares many of the same ingredients found in Lorac's Vitamin E Stick ($16.) Including Vitamin E, bisabol- a derivative of chamomile and mineral oils.
Compare Aldi's Lacura's lip balm (3 for $1.49) to Lorac's ($16) from Sephora
I am still in the process of testing out the eye cream, although I don't anticipate any noticeable results as far as wrinkles go since I don't really have any, I do plan on giving it a few weeks to see if there is a difference in moisture, puffy eyes, under eye brightening and perhaps a little skin tightening. So far I can say the area around my eyes definitely feel moisturized.
Lacura has a complete skin and beauty line sold only at Aldi stores and in Europe. Made in Germany, these products have been "causing up a storm" across Europe, reports Aldi. Of all of the Lacura products reviewed on makeupalley.com, they all have a very high buy back rate. Pretty cool. Interested in trying one of these products out?
