Accessories: Pin it

Good hair day, bad hair day. Dress up, dress down. You can always count on Bobby to spice up your hairdo. No, not Bobby your fabulous hair stylist. Bobby Pin, silly. Forget the classic black, brown or blond pins. Go for a floral, rhinestone, or better yet bow pin. Who cares if you were forced to wear one with your Sunday best when you were 5? Now is the time to do it your way.

Forever 21 is the place to shop for affordable, decorative pins. All of the pins featured here are less than  $5. I have the pearl set at the top and just love it. It's so feminine!

Some Bobby inspiration for you:

Straight, sleek and simple. To get the "3 S" Lauren  look, replace her simple bobby for a more decorative one. Go for a more subtle pin since it's going to be so close to the face like this one:

Pin your bangs back and secure them with beautiful pins like these:

Create a messy but sexy look with your short hair by pulling longer side strands to the back and securing them with multiple pins:

Bobby got a pretty nice makeover, wouldn't you say?

  1. Yes, absolutely love it. The thing about me wearing hair clips is I tend to look so much younger. And as it is with my current look, people can't guess my real age, what more if I put on bobby pins. Hahaha!

  5. The bobby pin has become one of my fave new hair friends. I think it is a great way to wear your hair down without having it in your face. Love it. Especially love the picture of Lauren Conrad rockin' the bobby pin.

  7. Yes I love how Bobby finally got a makeover. :) I love making my own decorative bobby pins, but F21 def has some very affordable ones. Their hair accessories are my fav, because you don't have to drop an arm and a leg for some fun jewelry for your hair!! splurging on hair accessories can be fun too. have you seen the awesome headbands / accessories by ban.do? (www.shopbando.com)... gorgeous stuff! love it.

    Love & Aloha!
